Stratosphere Games is an AAA mobile game developer based in Berlin, Germany, looking for a Network Programmer to support the development of existing and upcoming projects. 

As a Network Programmer, you are responsible to make it possible for our players to play with each other. Your main responsibility will be to develop network and server related functions. This includes designing and implementing the network interface or tools to help the game communicate with the server. 

Your responsibilities: 

• Develop network and server related functions 
• Work closely with the Lead Programmer to identify needs 
• Create documentation for your implementations 
• Present your ideas to the Backend Team and the Lead Programmer 
• Write clean and good structured code 
• Troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving network problems 

Requirements: 

• Experience in the role of Network Programmer  
• Already worked in game development, preferably mobile games 
• Knowledge of Unity 
• Ability to maintain and administer networks 
• Ability to work independently  
• Be able to solve problems and overcome obstacles 
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware  
• Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation
